Iyengar Yoga is inherently therapeutic, addressing all systems of the body and mind. The focus on alignment, order of poses, time spent in poses, and use of props is tailored to address specific issues as they present in each individual. BKS Iyengar famously said: "Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured."
While tending to our knees in one pose, we may also be tending to our nervous system, organic health, and emotional well-being all at once. In these sessions, we focus on common issues such as tight hips, low back pain, and discomfort in the knees, shoulders, and neck. We will use props, modifications, and move slowly to understand basic alignment and experience the healing properties of each pose.
Drop-ins are welcome, but investing in the series is strongly encouraged to fully experience the power of the practice as it evolves week after week! Remember health is a long term endeavor!
Join us for a transformative journey towards holistic health and well-being.

Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.
